The Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) comprises Nursery and Reception where we offer a fun, safe and caring environment for Early Years children to learn through play and exploration. Our lessons adopt a hands-on approach to learning which allows the children to have fun exploring the world while developing their physical, cognitive and social skills in a creative way.
In EYFS, the 3 to 5-year-old follow the International Primary Curriculum where the curriculum and activities are based on the Early Years Foundation Stage of the National Curriculum for England. This EYFS curriculum covers the prime areas of learning and development namely Communication, Language and Literacy, Problem Solving, Reasoning and Numeracy, Physical Development, Creative Development, Knowledge and Understanding of the World, and Personal, Social and Emotional Development.
In addition to enable the children to learn through play, this programme provides a holistic learning experience. Overall, it prepares the children for the next stage of learning, that is Key Stage One (Year 1&2).
